They dont know about Texas.

where everything is bigger . the hearts. the dreams. & even the spirits.

I want to be the girl, with the big Susie curls.

a cowboy hat .. with the boots to match.

I want to be a Texan. not a video vixen

because thats what im destined. if i dont move to texas

cali is for the under-achievers .. Ny is for the false-believers

where they'll buy your soul for a penny.

& suck your pockets dry and empty.

you can buy a dream. & sell a lie.

but being a Texan . is like touching the sky
