DIY: Avocado Mask . SUPPERR EASY

Ingredients : 1/2 Avocado

How to : Mash avocado in a bowl and apply evenly to your face. Leave it on for 15-20 minutes. Rinse off with cool water or soft wash cloth.

DIY: Lipgloss

To make your own lip gloss, you will need the following:


1.Petroleum jelly (Vaseline)
2.Lip gloss containers
3.A microwave-safe dish—one with a spout if you've got it
Microwave
4. Spoon
5.To individualize your lip gloss, you can add your choice of the following:
Colorant: Lipstick or Kool Aid
6.Sparkles and/or glitter
7.Flavoring: A small amount of honey and/or vanilla, mint or almond extract





Making Lip Gloss


Since the petroleum jelly is your base, the amount of it you use will be roughly equal to the resulting amount of lip gloss. The recipe can be easily adjusted to produce more or less lip gloss. You may have to do a bit of experimenting with the ingredients to get the right mix, but that's part of the fun!

1.Place some petroleum jelly into your microwavable container
2.If you are using lipstick, use a knife to shave off some lipstick scrapings and add them to the petroleum jelly
3.Microwave the petroleum jelly for 30 seconds to one minute—it doesn't need to be hot, you just want to melt it a bit to make it easier to mix your ingredients together
4.Add glitter, Kool Aid, and flavoring if you're using it
5.Mix well

5 CRAZYYY Makeup tips ..

Okay okay okay. I will admit, some of these tips are abs. CRAZY to say the least, and that's BIG coming from me, because people say I have some really weird ways to go about doing makeup . But these tips have me B E A T .. hope you enjoy!

1: KEEP A LIGHTER HANDY - use a lighter to warm up eyeliner pencil, its makes the tip soft and easier to use !

2: VASELINE TO GET YA CLEAN - use Vaseline to remove makeup! I know crazy right?

Don't put loads of Vaseline on your face to where it'll have you shiny for days, just take a little with your fingertip, apply to cheeks, lips, and eyelids (or where ever you makeup is.) & BAMM!.. Its all gone! (it really works, I tired it!)

3: SWITCH YA SMELL UP - if you start your day with a nice citrus smell, such as green apple, or a sweet honey, and as the night takes over, you want to switch to something a little more sexier like SEXY by Victoria Secret, or a fabulous Paris Hilton fragrance, just take a wash cloth, wet just a little ity bitty tiny bit, dab it with lotion, (un-scented preferred) put a little baby powder on the cloth, rub around neck, wrist, arms (or wherever you sprayed your perfume/ Cologne) & BAMM! Its all gone! .. Now put on your next fragrance and your ready to roll.

4: POWDER PUFF GIRL - okay my friend told me about this and I thought it was kind of weird. She doesn't wear any lotion, she doesn't use deodorant, nor does she use perfume, and she always smells really good. ( & yes . she does shower. and use soap, toothpaste, etc.) I was curious as to how someone couldn't use deodorant and lotion or perfume, yet they smell nice, they're never ashy and or musty. She said that its all in the POWDER baby. (baby power that is) She Uses powder in her bath water, sprinkles powder in her bed , & uses the powder as a deodorant. & she says that I doesn't make her sweat at all! Now how she doesn't get ashy .. is wayyyyy above my head, I'm just telling you guys what I know.

5: FEM.WIPES - okay guys you may want to close your eyes for this one. But to all my lovely females who know what feminine wipes are. I've found a new way to use them, we all know what feminine wipes are used for, and how they are used, so of course they have to be female-friendly, but guess what, they're also a really great makeup remover! Buy a pack of fem. wipes from your local wal-mart or walgreens store and try it .. I promise you wont be disappointed.

I have 8 foods that will help beautify your skin . (no effort needed) .. besides eating the food of course !

Besides being a great source of the antioxidant lycopene, tomatoes are considered a high-carotenoid fruit. These nutrients may help slow down cellular damage from free radicals.

Green Tea- Green tea's high on the list of skin-friendly beverages thanks to its impressive storehouse of polyphenols. Aim for four cups throughout your day.

Avocados- Avocados are not just for eating! A good source of biotin, avocados help to prevent dry skin and brittle hair and nails. When applied topically, they can hydrate parched skin.

Most of these foods you eat everyday, and I bet that you didn't even know how they could help your skin .. But keep on eating! Its good for you. Healthy foods only! (but a little chocolate every now & again is always good .. good for the soul) -CHOW!

Black is Beauty .. Skin Types

African American women seem to sometimes find it hard to find skin cleaning products that actually work, yet for a number amount of years, there's been this one amazing line, designed specifically for African American women, and its called AMBI. I've been using Ambi for about a year now, and its works fantastic with my skin. I have naturally oily skin, so I use the cocoa-butter face wash & the moisturizer designed specifically for oily skin. What skin type are you?

Normal Skin: Oil is evenly distributed and there is no extra shine. After cleansing the face, skin does not look dry or oily. Acne break-outs are less frequent.

Oily Skin: Skin that appears shiny or greasy up to two or three hours after cleansing the skin. Excess oil contributes to blackheads, blemishes, and enlarged pores.

How To . How Not To : PINK!

All girls love pink . probably not all shades of pink . but PINK in general .. was embedded into our DNA's .. & I am here to tell you first hand, pink does NOT go with everything.
Here are the How To's & How Not To's of wearing PINK!

Hot Not To: Wear Make up AT ALL & Pink Lipstick Especially.

How To: Wear pink blush. The blush is subtle yet put on a dramatic jaw line which gives it a powerful feel. & tops it off with beautiful blue eyes & a hard blue liner.. LOVE IT!

How Not To: Wear pink blush. the blush its self is okay, but the lips and eyes just make it look more like a clown rather than an actual. The makeup in general is flawless but the purple throws it off!



How To: Wear pink eyeshadow . You can tell that this shadow is mixed with more than one pink & probably a tad bit of purple along the brow. The soft pink shadow under the eye lid is too cute with perfectly spaced lashes. A+

How To . How Not To: Wear Pink lipstick. Rihanna clearly won this one. The powerful pink lipstick plays up a face. A face with not too much but not too little. Yet this woman on the right??

Idk if its the bad hair day. or what, but sorry to say mama .. That pink lip stick isnt working for you. :(

How To: Wear pink nails! I love pink nails and this pink & white houndsouth print is doing work. The nails are a perfect length & will make any spring outfit look fun & girly .

How Not To: Wear pink nails. Okay I like the designs, just not so much on these fingers and at this length. If you have really hard looking fingers, go with more a short lenght so they will look softer & not as rough .. Trust me. It'll work!

Loud. Lovely Lashes .. BE BOLD!
